Editing an Existing Web Page

  1. To edit a web page on the holgerdanske.com web site, I opened a web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and went to the holgerdanske.com web site ( http://www.holgerdanske.com/ ):

  • In the left pane, I entered my username and my password, and clicked the "Log in" button.

  • I then navigated to the page I wanted to edit:

  • Note the "View" and "Edit" links to the right of the page title. To edit the page, all I have to do is click "Edit". This drops me into the page editor, and I can proceed according to the "Creating a Web Page" tutorial begining at step 4.

    Note that the Edit link will only appear if you are logged in and have the necessary permissions to edit the page. You should always be able to edit pages you created. As more features are enabled and/or more modules added on, you might be able to collaborate on pages created by other users.
